  # Gov't sent Clarence, after 1960,to Alaska in charge of Indian and Eskimo Stores. Then to Havre, Montana, as housing co-ordinator for Bureau of Indian Affairs, over building of about 50 houses on the reservations. Clarence had a stroke in the summer of 1970. Paralyzed on right side, right eye blind, left eye partly so.
